Where to start!? Outstanding check in and my room was available 30 minutes earlier than I had planned. Hotel's interior was modern with a hint of yesteryear. Elevators worked fine and were quiet and stairs to the 3rd floor were easily managed with luggage. Room was soundproofed well and roomy. TV was a standard 30-inch flat screen and worked fine. Bathroom was modem with a shower head that could point straight down like a waterfall and became hot after three seconds with body wash provided and shower doors met (closed) at a corner. The breakfast which was included in my price was making me want to stay longer! From 0630 to 1030, one could graze like a Swiss cow at the buffet consisting of scrambled eggs, and bacon/sausages, Breads featuring croissants rolls, various jams and yogurts, cold water, mixed and regular orange juice along with a make-your-own-cappuccino machine (coffee of various varieties as well) rounded out the offering. All the while eating in a great restaurant setting! If I had day trips to other Swiss locations, I can walk out the front door 300 meters and be at the Bahnhof and off for an augmented adventure to Geneva, Zurich, or the nearby Swiss Alps.

Breakfast was very good All fresh and mostly local food. Bread was warm and eggs were from a local framer. Service was very friendly and helpful. Request for extra pillows was meet with immediate and cheerful assistance. Extra sparkling and still water provided at no charge in room. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. Parking was close, easy and free. It was an easy and free trip to downtown on the train or bus with tourist card provided from hotel. Took about 10-15 minutes.
