A luxurious hotel located near the center of the town of Spiez and overlooking Lake Thun and Spiez Castle. For car owners, the hotel has a large underground parking lot at a very reasonable cost of 12 francs for 24 hours, but you have to reserve the parking lot in advance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helped us a lot in planning our trip around the Thun and Brienz lakes. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The toilet and shower are separated, so two people can use them at the same time, which saves a lot of time. The breakfast is excellent and rich. The hotel has a heated pool and spa.

The Hotel Seaside, Spiez is centrally located 7.5 mi from Interlaken and 5.6 mi from Thun, and a 5-minute walk from the shores of Lake Thun.

This was our second time staying with Hotel Emmental. My kids requested to stay here again. It's a wonderful, character filled vintage hotel/restaurant filled with Swiss charm. Castle view out the window! Scrumptious breakfast and attentive staff. Located in olde town. Highly recommended!!

The location by the lake and the park was wonderful. It was a close walk to the down town part of Thun. The views from the property were spectacular and the staff was top notch. Would definitely stay here again!

It is a nice hotel, breakfast is very good, plenty of choices ( there is rice, a good plus to us). A bus ride from interlaken ost, located at the main street... lot of shops and restaurants around the area.

All of the staff were fantastic, I booked the modern room but i was not comfortable then i asked the hotel reception name of the man (Pierre) to change my room and he changed for me. (Vasco and Istvan) these men helps as with luggage. Ibrahim, Rabab, Saif were very helpful and kind in the restaurant. General Manager Karim Abid and reception man Antonios they were very gentleman with us and they help us with the check out and make it easy for us. I recommend this hotel for family and for couples.
