The location was wonderful and the receptionist was extremely welcoming and helpful. We would recommend this place for anybody wishing to spend some time in Cesky Krumlov.

From the moment we entered the pension we saw a big smile. It was a bit busy the evening we arrived, because of a birthday that was celebrated in the restaurant, but we still received full attention. Our room was large and clean. At breakfast there is a menu and you can choose the dish you want. It was tasty. Nice garden with a lake. There are parking places . We also received a present, which was a nice surprise.

The location is good, at the center of the town, near to the castle, restaurant and also the market. Room is at upstair and need go up to 2nd floor, but the owner will help with the luggage. Room is big and lovely, and also the comfortable bed for good sleep.

The Host Vladimir did his best to make our stay something that we would not forget. He helped in ALL aspects from parking of the car to assisting us in getting into the car when we have left. His friendliness is exceptional, and I would like to commend him and the facility over and over and would re-visit the accommodation again in future.

The charming Alt Straninger guest house can be found in the historical heart of Cesky Krumlov, just across the street from the Egon Schiele Art Center.

I particularly appreciate the initiative taken by the Front desk, sorry I failed to get the Guys name to ask the time I am going to the bus station and offered to take me there by the hotel’s service vehicle. Lugging around my suitcase on the cobbled stone from the hotel back to the bus ration was a challenged. The free ride was a! Unexpected bonus. Also the breakfast spread was generous and bounty:)
