Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness.

Wonderfully quirky little B and B. A very comfortable room with enough bedroom space. Loved the claw bath, this was in the bedroom, I loved this but some may not. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This little place was the perfect walking distance to Bowness for restaurants and Windermere for shopping.

I had a few lovely days here in Windermere. The room was cosy and tidy, well located, and easy to get to. Not to mention the perfect host! I was given all the information I need to get around and to travel back when the train was unfortunately cancelled. Tracey is the nicest landlady I've ever met:)

Set in a large Victorian house with a beautiful mature garden, Annesdale House offers rooms with a private entrance, a patio and an iPod dock. Underfloor heating features in each private bathroom.

The owner Ms Alena was simply a wonderful person. She made our stay extremely comfortable. She gave us wonderful tips for sight seeing too.

This traditional, Lakeland stone guest house is set in a tranquil location by Mill Beck river, 10 minutes’ walk from Lake Windermere’s shores.

Liz and Chris are lovely, welcoming hosts providing loads of information on things to do, restaurants etc in the area. The breakfasts were great with lots of options offered. Would definitely recommend staying here.
