The location is also very central to the nearby pick up points, restaurants, and the low volume lounge bars. The view from the terrace was exceptional. ItalyAs we stayed during the low season from April 27th to the 30th, we were unexpectedly upgraded to another hotel that belongs to the same group called Avaton resort & spa also located in Imerovigli. This review will somehow be related to that specific hotel. The room was similar to the one that we initially booked at Regina Mare with a wonderful view on the Caldera and direct private access to a swimming pool. As far as I am concerned, Imerovigli ist in fact the best location on Santorini island because of its peacefulness and great views. The service was impeccable, be it from Kostas, the director of the hotel who brought us warm blankets when we were sitting on our deck chairs in the wind to gaze at the Caldera or the perfect room service especially carried out at breakfast which was directly served in our room or on our terrace. Our room was extremely comfortable, very nicely decorated and furbished. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable ones we ever had on a vacation. It was even possible to enjoy a magnificent sunset directly from our window! The professionalism and impeccability of the hotel was carried out by each staff. Kostas was even reachable evening time for any inquiries and insisted to address us his farewell personally before our departure. Special care was dedicated to my wife's breakfast as she was allergic to gluten and milk. This is a place where we definitely loved to stay and will always remember. We highly recommend it to any traveller eager to discover the wonderful island of Santorini.

Choosing accomm on Santorini is a bit of a minefield but with Remezzo we struck gold. Its location in Imerovigli is perfect for exploring the island in both directions and for stunning views of the caldera. The property itself has been designed beautifully and is an oasis of tranquility, the owner and staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, accommodating or friendly (they felt like family after 3 nights) and the delicious, multiple-course breakfasts add an element of real luxury and care on Remezzo’s behalf. We will be back.
