Theo- he was amazing- . He was supportive, very helpful, he has a gift of hospitality that is hard to find at other places. He is humble, kind, and a delightful person to talk with. Everything about this resort is magnificent. Super friendly staff with high morals as well as super cozy and warming rooms plus very fresh and delicious breakfast and awesome location to the beach with all accessible stores and markets nearby. One thing which we found very welcoming even before arriving there was that they asked for your flight details and then they also tracked your location and status and this "being in contact" with you even before your arrival is indeed very civilized and friendly; this came to play in our case because due to the weather conditions, our flight could not land in Santorini and we landed in Athens and must have waited for the ferry to get to Santorini and we lost a day because of all the mentioned problems and we decided to stay for one more day to compensate our lost one and even though if was not at all the hotel's business, they helped us fully, from each possible aspects, to be able to enjoy our staying and it did make that lost day up to us, mostly thanks to Mr. Dimitrios Stefanos Sakellaris and of course all the other staff, whose names I unfortunately don't know to mention them personally. Every one there was super polite and friendly with a warm smile on their face, which made your every single day enjoyable and energetic. The respected lady who cleaned our room was also very welcoming and warm and thanks to her, our room was always in order with all the needed goods inside. Frankly and away from any exaggerations, all in all it was an awesome staying, surely because of super friendly staff, who honestly is glad to help you with your wishes and they do remember what you asked without even going for it twice, which is a big plus on their side; There was really nothing to complain about and gladly we would visit this resort again.

Literally everything about the property was excellent. We stayed in the loft suite with a gorgeous view of the caldera and the sea. The suite had three main view points, the balcony on the ground floor, the large viewing window on the first floor facing the beds (the first thing you see when you wake up is the azure ocean and caldera), and the large terrace on the first floor with the private pool at the edge giving the impression of an infinity pool. The pool is not heated, but the manager mentioned that they are considering adding this feature which would make the experience even better especially during May, when the water temperature is slightly chilly. The second thing I’d like to highlight is the hotel staff. I have seldom seen such amazing staff from the reception to restaurant to housekeeping. In particular, the lady at the front desk (Kate) stands out! She was fabulous, arranged for a private yacht tour as well as an island tour, both of which turned out to be lovely! She was accommodating, and arranged for an early checkin and late checkout, and even packed the complementary wine from the room that we hadn’t tried. The restaurant had a very good breakfast. They can perhaps do a bit more on the seafood side for lunch and dinner menus, but nothing to complain about in particular. The food, overall, was good and we ate several times during the course of our stay. Santorini is too beautiful to see just once in your lifetime, so when I come back the next time, I’ll, for sure, choose Akrotiri over the crowded Oia or Fira, and this property again!

The hotel was loooooovely and Haris the lady on reception couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. She told us everything we needed to know about the island and the easiest ways to get around etc. We were upgraded to a suite with a private pool and it was SO GOOD. I was concerned to begin with as there aren’t many sunbeds around the main pool for the amount of people in the hotel but when we had our own it was perfect!! There was also another very helpful lady who told us it would be 60€ to the port but when she rung she managed to get it down to 40€ which was another nice touch (rather than just telling us that’s what the price was). We loved it so much we enquired about staying another night but with already having another hotel in Ios booked and paid for, it just wasn’t worth the extra cost :( some of my friends have already booked to stay at the end of August on my recommendation!
