This is a lovely hotel in all respects from which to enjoy Rhodes. The location is excellent for visits to the Old City, restaurants, and beaches. The rooms are spacious and the ample breakfast in the courtyard is a great way to start the day. Best of all is the intimate atmosphere and the excellent advice provided by the very friendly owners - for example, we were tipped off to a special outdoor evening concert at the Grand Palace, very nice restaurants with local cuisine, and the best ice cream shop in town.

We absolutely loved our stay! The service was wonderful and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable, with a coffee machine, mini bar, and a super cozy bed. Everything exceeded our expectations — we would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back. As we had an early flight, they even prepared breakfast for us to take away, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Very nice hotel, rebuilt from the ruins and maintaining the old medieval style. Theo (the owner) built it with his heart. You can see him and feel the love and enthusiasm he brings when you hear him talk about the history of his city and his hotel. Both with Maria (the waitress) recommended some restaurants and places to go/visit. We were satisfied. Every morning Maria surprised us with different breakfasts. She made sure we felt at ease, without missing anything. All this made our holiday full of unique emotions and experiencing the old city, just like in the Middle Ages. I propose this hotel to all those who would like to experience the old city of Rhodes in a slightly different way.

We had a wonderful stay at Avalon Boutique Hotel, a truly unique and charming property nestled right in the heart of the medieval Old Town of Rhodes. Despite being just steps away from the vibrant buzz of the town’s narrow cobbled streets, the hotel offers an oasis of calm and serenity — it’s quite remarkable how peaceful it is once you step inside the beautiful stone courtyard. We stayed in the Anatoli Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. A real highlight was our private terrace with a couple of sun loungers — perfect for relaxing in privacy. The bed was very comfortable, the linens spotless, and the bathroom (fitted with multi-jet shower features) was clean and well-equipped with towels and toiletries. Thenia, who greeted us upon arrival, was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful — always with a genuine smile. Throughout our stay, she and another lovely staff member (whose name I regret not getting) were both attentive and welcoming, adding a personal touch that made our stay all the more special. Breakfast was another highlight — served in a beautiful stone patio surrounded by greenery, accompanied by the gentle sounds of a water fountain and birdsong. A peaceful and refreshing way to start the day. Avalon Boutique Hotel is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The attention to detail and the kindness of the staff made our stay memorable. We’ll definitely return at the first opportunity. A heartfelt thank you to Thenia and the whole team for such a lovely experience.
