Bellevue San Lorenzo remains a superb hotel, a world best on every level, this was our fourth visit, and the magic remains. We will return as soon as life permits. Yes, the location is second to none and the hotel’s facilities and rooms are first class, but the key input is the staff guided by the hands-on management of the owner who has guided its progress and generously developed it these past 30 years with thoughtful design aiding it to sit happily in its surroundings. All the staff are well trained and go above and beyond to epitomize this friendly efficient hotel to make it world class, there really is no better place in this relaxing environment on the lake side or indeed dare I say Italy and beyond. The menu is artistically and creatively produced with a delight as each course arrives to your table, breakfast is buffet style and covers every possible requirement, from cereals, bacon and eggs, to cold meat and fruit, its all there. We have travelled and lived in many countries, this hotel is consistently the best.

One of my favorite hotel experiences ever. I made a mistake booking and management immediately solved the problem. The design and architecture of the hotel is exceptional, fun, and rich. The room was perfect, clean, and comfortable in addition to being the coolest room we've seen in any hotel. An exceptional experience.

We arrived early but a very friendly and welcoming lady managed to get us a room right away. What wowed us immediately was the view from the hotel overlooking the lake. Also from the breakfast room there is a million Dollar view, just amazing. The breakfast itself was a buffet with some items changing daily so we didn’t get tired of it. The location was outside the city, but there is a nice walkway along the lake. We walked it a couple of times but it is approx. 4km. Nevertheless there is a „tourist bus“ station just outside the hotel, there is a bus about once per hour and you pay the driver directly, I think it was 1.5 Euro per person. It is helpful when you don’t want to drive after dinner.

The hotel was beautiful, the arquitecture, the interior design, really really beautiful. The staff was very kind and friendly and made us feel at home. The cleaning lady did an amazing job with the rooms, they were impecable. I am sensitive to smells and the place smelled great. Fresh flowers at the entrance and the rooms smelled like clean laundry, a pleasure to enter our room every time. Breakfast was delicious, and the view amazing. Also the mini spa was enjoyable too.
