The receptionist made an effort and waited an extra hour for our check-in. The location is excellent, close to the train station but also in the center.

Hotel Patavium is located 10-12 min walking from the Heart of City Center of Padua, the main Train station and Scrivegni Chapel.

First of all, I would like to mention all the receptionists who were absolutely amazing and very helpful when I needed a safe place to store my backpack for a couple of hours - they all were very kind to help me do that. They even let me wait and kill some time (after the check-out) in the garden before my bus departure, which was over two hours. All of the receptionists speak fluent English, which is something I really appreciated. Breakfast was excellent - there was a wide variety of food ranging from sweet foods, such as croissants, cakes and sweets, to ham, cheese and other savoury foods. A kind waitress made us, guests, whatever type of coffee we wanted, such as cappuccino and other types. I also liked a lot that you could choose where to eat your breakfast - if inside, in the dining-room, or outside in a glassed conservatory, or right in the garden.

I gave 9 points to many hotels, but there are only a few with 10. Art Hotel Al Fagiano is one of them. It is located next to the Basilica, the staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and lovely. You become more, then you actually expect from 2 Stars. I really enjoyed my stay there.

The Crowne Plaza is a luxury hotel at the Padova Ovest exit of the A4 Motorway, 15 minutes' drive from Padua center by bus. It offers a parking, a gym and Wi-Fi, all free.

The rooms were big, with a stylish, elegant design. Bathroom was large and had all the amenities including a bidet. Staff at the reception was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Cleaning staff did an amazing job every time leaving the room spotless! The hotel has a large private parking behind which is free to use for customers.
