This house and gardens were magical. I didn't quite understand that we would be staying in the actual old mansion, where all the books, artwork and furniture are original, and the owner and staff make you feel like friends. The historical tour of the house by Maria was so interesting, it lead me down of rabbit hole of reading about the artists and people who have lived there. This was a place where artists and writers came to be inspired, and it did the same for me. The view of Mount Etna and the town below are beyond compare.

Villa Angela is a boutique hotel set on the side of a mountain with outstanding views of the sea. breakfast was served on a large outdoor patio with the same amazing views. The staff were both helpful and friendly. There was a shuttle service too and from the town which mad it so easy and convenient to go into town as often as we liked. The hotel is oozing with charm and we truly loved our stay there.

Incredible wonderful room. Huge. With huge terrace. A billion dollar view!!!! Exceptional staff. Especially lady at front desk and the wonderful very young lady at the breakfast each morning. Breakfast was excellent- nice choices. Loved everything!!!! So very quiet and peaceful!!!! Our room was on level 6. So perfect! Loved being so close to public garden and all the shopping and great restaurants!!!

    Gorgeous little boutique hotel in an old renovated villa, with very comfortable, luxurious rooms and modern bathrooms. Rooms are decorated with lovely, individual touches, and there are good quality toiletries provided. The bed was very comfortable, with big, soft pillows. Breakfast was served upstairs with a view over the town and towards Mount Etna, with everything freshly prepared. What really made it such a perfect stay through was the friendliness of the staff, who were wonderful and friendly throughout.
