We had a wonderful pre-cruise stay at this hotel. Tommy was just a delight helping us out with everything at the breakfast buffet. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are all exceptional. The room was clean, nice and comfortable. Everything! Location is perfect, I could walk everywhere but the room was very quiet in the busy city. Big room, spacious bathroom, wonderful mattress and pillows, nice sheets. I even liked the bedside lamp. There was also a couch, very nice to be able to spend time in the room. Also, trash is taken out and the room is tidied every day.

We had the apartment, separate from the main hotel. Perfect. It is about 100m further up the street, on the 3rd (top) floor of an old apartment building. Basically a spacious suite with a large, comfortable and (retro) stylish living room/kitchen-diner in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. This worked well for us as we made our own breakfast and used the apartment’s washing machine. Good restaurants and bars on the street and good walking access to the rest of town. The apartment overlooks a small terraced park through which one can climb up to the cathedral, castle, Winckelman Museum, and a plaza with a view over the city: good for sunset with a drink from one of the kiosks. The hotel staff are great.
