Very nice rooms and views. What stood out most of all was the hotel staff. They are extremely helpful people.

The hotel and grounds are exceptionally beautiful. The outdoor pool and gardens are a real treasure. The staff were very helpful and friendly with the children. The town of Baveno is adorable. The views of the lake and Alpine foothills are peaceful and uplifting. The weather was prima.

You couldn't ask for a better location or a better view of the lake! We were warmly welcomed and when we saw our room, we were amazed at the breath-taking view of Lago Maggiore. Almost every evening of our stay, we enjoyed the views and a glass of wine on our private balcony. We had a few meals at the restaurant as well. Our food was perfectly prepared and excellent, as was the wait staff. In fact, the entire staff–in both the restaurant and hotel– was accommodating, friendly, and courteous. This was the perfect end of our trip!

We had a beautiful lake view from our windows. The bathroom was large. There were steps to get to our room, this was expected and understood because the hotel is a historic one. Everything was very clean, bed was very comfortable and other furniture in the room was adequate. Breakfast was really good, they offered many choices for beverages and food, way better than a continental breakfast. We liked the historic atmosphere of the hotel and area. They have their own coffee shop inside the hotel that locals use, this is a huge plus for us. The romantic dinner was adorable with all the candles and great service, the food was delicious (I eat a vegetarian diet and they made some of the best vegetarian dishes I have ever tasted). We liked the charm and hope to come back again someday.
