Boutique Hotels in Tangalle

Lovely hotel and the staff were amazing! It also has a fantastic pool and was right on the beach. The beach had very few people on it which made for a quiet and relaxing trip. The owner happily arranged tours and transfers, and really couldn't have been more helpful. I ate at the restaurant every night and had excellent seafood and cocktails. There was also a wide selection at breakfast. The room was cleaned twice a day by stealth, usually when I was at breakfast and dinner. I thought that this was excellent service as you were never disturbed whilst in your room. All of the staff were do kind and friendly and went above and beyond. Would come back!

We never planned to go to Tangalle. Reading the reviews of this property put Tangalle on the radar for us. I read somewhere that Nick (the owner) once said: “I became utterly mesmerized by the chaotic beauty of this island and its peoples’ great charm. From that moment my head, heart, body and soul took root here…” I believe, a part of us took root at Buckingham Place. We shall return. And you, yes you reading this, get your butt over there ASAP!

Amazing quiet beach, the views from the room over the pool were nice and the overall surroundings of the hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming Yes it’s open rooms (Bangalo / camp) so be prepared for the nice experience:)
