Boutique Hotels in Aït Benhaddou

We stayed one night from Feb 17-18 in the Superior Quadruple suite. This is a great place to stay a night or more in Ait Benhaddou. The best way to visit Ait is to stay a night as you can enjoy sunset and sunrise without the tour bus crowds during the day – there are not too many tourist around in the eve and in the morning (but mind you that we were there in Feb – might be different in the higher season) Lovely and helpful staff They serve a great and tasteful dinner in great atmosphere and with great service- don’t miss it! Very spacious, bright room with tasteful interior Just like the very tasteful interior in the entire Riad Super quiet Nice roof top terrace with great views to the Kasbah We had a car, but it is only a 15 min walk to the Kasbah. Before you go, check out if not one of the movie companies produces a movie there and locks up the old Kasbah and you cannot enter it - 2 weeks after our visits the Kasbah would have been closed for a while for Christopher Nolan’s «The Odyssey» and they had already started to border up the Kasbah up (e.g. we could not enter through the old gate any more). The Riad is a clear top recommendation for us!
