Hosts were very helpful. Breakfast was good. The location was good - in a quiet area but within walking distance of everything. Recommend this lodge for anyone wanting a base in Wanaka, especially for couples travelling by car.

Walking distance to town and the Lake, parking included, fully stocked kitchen though we didn’t really use it, washing machine especially came in handy halfway through our trip. Personal preference the couches weren’t super comfortable but overall was a lovely stay.

So nice to arrive in a new place and be able to stay somewhere that feels like home ( a really beautiful home!). Allan was a wonderful host. He helped us find the beautiful local walks, the most delicious restaurants, and just generally made us feel welcome. The place is spotless. It is beautifully decorated and furnished, and it is warm and very comfortable. The communal areas were so inviting-the wood fire was welcome as it was quite cool and wet during our stay. Tea and coffee bar , great laundry, a hot tub (though we didn't use it). This place is perfect for those who expect a little more from their accomodation. Our plan is to book out the whole lodge and return with our extended family.

Really cozy and super clean! We were so comfortable there. Very close to town, beach, and hiking trails. Really appreciated the outdoor clothesline.
