Select rooms include a fireplace and a sofa bed. I booked a room but was upgraded to a suite and after 4 nights on the train from Toronto it was a wonderful surprise. The bed was comfy and the room peaceful and I had a good night's sleep. Everyone was very helpful and informative. The facilities were excellent It was possible to walk to the Waterfront and central for sightseeing and only a short taxi from the station. I ate lunch and the food and service were very good. My burger was cooked medium rare just as I like it. I didn't have breakfast as I was leaving early for the train. I would definitely go back when next in Vancouver with or without an upgrade. I was disappointed I didn't have time to check out the pool and sauna.

The host was extremely welcoming, made you instantly feel like at home, and also gave us great tips for the surrounding areas! The nature around Revelstoke is amazing with plentiful of options for a great day outdoors. The town itself is also a great base with tasty cafes and restaurants! Would definetely stay here again!
