Very friendly staff, ready to help anytime. Location is excellent, right next to gate of Old Town. Parking is easy and cheap for Basel. Great garden outside, nice place to relax.

Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. The Basel SBB Train Station is 850 metres away. I loved the room- it was exceptionally cozy, impeccably clean, and pleasantly warm. The breakfast was excellent, and the central location was ideal.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The restaurant Alexander serves Swiss specialties and offers different Pizza varieties and delivery service in the hotel. Location is perfect, very easy to get there from the airport and then all the sights can be easily reached on foot or by tram. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice of things. The room was super clean with a nice bathroom. The bed was comfy and the whole room was quiet so nights were relaxing. Even the late (after midnight) check-in could be solved.

All rooms have a cable TV, a large work desk and a free minibar with soft drinks and beer. Lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly stuff. The location is great, almost next to bus/tram stop. Handy free Basel card - for free public transport and discounts for some museums. I had a room with balcony, so spent my evening there with a nice view.

You will be enchanted by the unique atmosphere of this stylish hotel. The location of the hotel is great. It is next to the train station and the bus station (but you do need to make sure you use the right exit of the train station. The google map didn't guide me to the right exit and I was trying to look for the hotel pulling my luggage around for 15 min only to find that it is just next to the train station if another exit is used). The location is fantastic with bus station next to it too. Nevertheless, it was still very quiet. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. There was free public transportation too that came with the stay. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. Good location for access to all areas of the city, especially as there was a free Basel card for public transport.Hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was good. Free hot drinks throughout the day was welcoming

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff and very comfortable rooms.

The Basel Exhibition Centre can be reached by tram within 10 minutes. Super convenient to the train station. The room was very comfortable, and staff were wonderful

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Laptops with wireless internet access and printers are available for free. Perfect location, amazing breakfast, very clean, kind and helpful staff. The decor is very chic and cool, not at all boring or obvious.
