Located on the cliffside and nicer side of Mürren close to the mountain clouds. The room was perfect for a solo traveller and the view from the balcony is just heavenly (make sure to request for a room by the mountain side), check pics. Bfast was good and also had dinner here twice, their food is great and servers are attentive. Hotel is the first one on the cliffside after turning left from the train station, it isn’t a very long walk. I had an overall pleasant stay and will stay here again.

Cosy and relaxed Eiger Guesthouse is located opposite the BLM train station in Mürren, with a splendid view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau Mountains. Lokalita Murren je moc pěkné místo s viditelnou historií Švýcarska. Milá obsluha.

Hirschen is situated in a 17th century landmark building located in Interlaken. This hotel features a garden and free WiFi throughout the property. Beautiful hotel hundreds of years old that served incredible food. The staff were all amazing but as many have said you often have to go down to the restaurant on the bottom floor below reception to find them. They have a washing machine and drier you can use for 4CHF each which was wonderful. There is a bus to East and another to West one minute from the hotel. They run every 30 minutes or you can walk in 15. Room was beautiful and I’m 6’5” and while the roof is low I was fine. Interlaken is a fantastic travel hub and has great services. I’d love to return some day.

Friendly staff, a nice room with a balcony with a magnificent view on the lake and the mountains. Good location close to public transport which is free with the visitor pass. Private parking is also a plus.

I usually don’t write reviews for hotels, but this experience truly deserves recognition. Yannick went above and beyond in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, he was exceptionally warm, kind, and friendly—so much so that it felt like he already knew us. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. What stood out most was his patience and attentiveness. I had many questions throughout our stay, and he always responded with a smile and clear, thoughtful explanations. His professionalism and kindness made a real difference. I also want to mention how welcoming the owner was. I had previously stayed here last year without my mother, and the staff were already very friendly and accommodating. However, during this recent visit—with my mother, who wears a hijab—I was genuinely touched to find that they were even more welcoming and respectful. I had some initial concerns that we might feel out of place, but instead, we were treated with the utmost kindness and warmth. It was a beautiful and reassuring experience that made us feel truly seen and respected. I’m very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and thoughtful environment.

Hotel Schönegg je 3hvězdičkový hotel vyšší kategorie, který se nachází přímo v centru pěší zóny Wengen, kam se dostanete pouze vlakem. The location is awesome, really close to the station. All the hotel is fantastic: the bedroom is very comfy (with an astonishing view of Jungfrau), the breakfast has so many tasteful options, all the staff is kind. The restaurant of the hotel (if used) is very good.

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park. Location is outstanding. Amazing views of the enchanting lake Brienz and the Giessbach Falls and surroundings. Sleep experience is excellent. The Hotel architecture and interior decoration is of such fine artistic taste and luxury, it is a gem. Quite classical and historic as if one is living the high life in the 19th century. Cuisine too was of a high standard with great variety and quality. Excellent restaurant staff attitude and courtesy.

Rodinný Hotel Alpenrose byl postaven v roce 1881 a je nejstarším hotelem ve Wengenu, kam lze dojet pouze vlakem, a nabízí kompletně zrekonstruované pokoje v tradičním alpském stylu a bezplatné Wi-Fi. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which has a-ma-zing views of the alps and valley. We were pleasantly surprised that the unit was quite big, with 2 large beds, dining area and small kitchenette. But the best part was the balcony with spectacular views. The staff are helpful and respectful. We loved that we stayed in this perfect place in Wengen. We will definitely stay here again.
