The family-run Hotel Alpina right in the heart of the car-free resort of Mürren offers you a unique location and spectacular views over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.

The Swiss-style rooms are pleasantly and comfortably furnished. Most rooms also offer spectacular views of the mountains and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Located on the cliffside and nicer side of Mürren close to the mountain clouds. The room was perfect for a solo traveller and the view from the balcony is just heavenly (make sure to request for a room by the mountain side), check pics. Bfast was good and also had dinner here twice, their food is great and servers are attentive. Hotel is the first one on the cliffside after turning left from the train station, it isn’t a very long walk. I had an overall pleasant stay and will stay here again.

Cosy and relaxed Eiger Guesthouse is located opposite the BLM train station in Mürren, with a splendid view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau Mountains.

All rooms are accessible with a lift or spiral stair. All rooms are equiped with TV, free wifi and with a hairdryer. Everything was Perfect! we will come back for sure! 💚💚💚💚💚

Hirschen is situated in a 17th century landmark building located in Interlaken. This hotel features a garden and free WiFi throughout the property.

All rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, radio and a desk. All rooms have a private bathroom. The garden terrace provides a splendid view of the famed Mount Virgin. Beautiful hotel hundreds of years old that served incredible food. The staff were all amazing but as many have said you often have to go down to the restaurant on the bottom floor below reception to find them. They have a washing machine and drier you can use for 4CHF each which was wonderful. There is a bus to East and another to West one minute from the hotel. They run every 30 minutes or you can walk in 15. Room was beautiful and I’m 6’5” and while the roof is low I was fine. Interlaken is a fantastic travel hub and has great services. I’d love to return some day.

Situated right above Lake Brienz, the Hotel Brienzersee (Garni) offers superb views from the rooms and from the lakeside terrace, the Brienzersee hotel is only a 5-minute drive away from the centre of Interlaken. Friendly staff, a nice room with a balcony with a magnificent view on the lake and the mountains. Good location close to public transport which is free with the visitor pass. Private parking is also a plus.

Free WiFi access is provided in public areas. I usually don’t write reviews for hotels, but this experience truly deserves recognition. Yannick went above and beyond in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, he was exceptionally warm, kind, and friendly—so much so that it felt like he already knew us. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. What stood out most was his patience and attentiveness. I had many questions throughout our stay, and he always responded with a smile and clear, thoughtful explanations. His professionalism and kindness made a real difference. I also want to mention how welcoming the owner was. I had previously stayed here last year without my mother, and the staff were already very friendly and accommodating. However, during this recent visit—with my mother, who wears a hijab—I was genuinely touched to find that they were even more welcoming and respectful. I had some initial concerns that we might feel out of place, but instead, we were treated with the utmost kindness and warmth. It was a beautiful and reassuring experience that made us feel truly seen and respected. I’m very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and thoughtful environment.

Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the centre of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train. Some rooms have a mountain-view balcony and the hotel features an award-winning restaurant which serves a variety of quality cuisine using fresh local products. The location is awesome, really close to the station. All the hotel is fantastic: the bedroom is very comfy (with an astonishing view of Jungfrau), the breakfast has so many tasteful options, all the staff is kind. The restaurant of the hotel (if used) is very good.

All of the modern rooms at this design hotel have cable TV. Some of the rooms have picturesque views of Engelhorn peaks and the Rosenlaui glacier.

Victoria - Alpine Boutique Hotel & Fine Diningis a 5-minute walk from the Sherlock Holmes Museum. The Reichenbach Falls are a 10-minute drive from the hotel. The city of Bern is just over an hour away by car. The hotel staff (and gifts) made us feel very welcome. The design was luxurious, we had everything we needed after a long day of trekking and the breakfast was the best we had in Switzerland!

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park. It offers views over Lake Brienz and the Giessbach Waterfall,an outdoor pool, 2 restaurants, one of which features a summer terrace. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Location is outstanding. Amazing views of the enchanting lake Brienz and the Giessbach Falls and surroundings. Sleep experience is excellent. The Hotel architecture and interior decoration is of such fine artistic taste and luxury, it is a gem. Quite classical and historic as if one is living the high life in the 19th century. Cuisine too was of a high standard with great variety and quality. Excellent restaurant staff attitude and courtesy.

Built in 1881, the family-run Hotel Alpenrose is the oldest hotel in the car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train, and offers you completely renovated rooms in a traditional Alpine style and free WiFi. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which has a-ma-zing views of the alps and valley. We were pleasantly surprised that the unit was quite big, with 2 large beds, dining area and small kitchenette. But the best part was the balcony with spectacular views. The staff are helpful and respectful. We loved that we stayed in this perfect place in Wengen. We will definitely stay here again.
