It has all the amenities you require, however if you have 2 suitcases, it difficult to open it :) 2. Bathroom - clean and spacious 3. Staff - very friendly. The staff invited us for free drinks at bar in the evening. 4. Location - excellent. It is central and right on the water. You can enjoy your meals at the balcony and enjoy the views. 5. Breakfast - it was fresh and tasty. 6. Value for money - a bit at the expensive side but it is due to quality and location.

The rooms at Engel Hotel feature white, empty walls, pine wood floors and straight lines. The monochrome bed headboards have built-in mirrors and halogen lighting. So clean. Excellent staff. Great choices and prices in the restaurant. I felt very safe

The Bed + Breakfast is surrounded by a tranquil garden, which is great for relaxing after a day of doing business or sightseeing. Hosts- Yvonne and owner Isabella were very warm, welcoming, helpful in making reservations. We were able to pay for street parking through the Bed and Breakfast, which was less expensive than the usual rate. Breakfast was plentiful. There is a small communal frig available to store a few items. Everything -the room, bathrooms, eating areas and outdoor areas were kept extremely clean. Our room was made up every day, which is not always the case for a BnB property. The owner arranged for a breakfast for our final departure morning even though we were leaving earlier than the time breakfast was offered for guests at the property. Public transportation is just a block away and is included in the rate for staying in Lucerne. This is a safe location, set amongst stately homes, built 100 years ago, located only 10 minutes by tram from the old quarter of Lucerne. Very easy to navigate. I would recommend this property for couples, families, single travelers of all ages; it is quite comfortable for visits of multiple nights. The location is very good to travel outside the city to see outlying towns or mountain areas. We would definitely come back to the Bed and Breakfast.

Facilities include a private cinema and a wellness centre. I’m used to traveling the world and staying in 5-star hotels, but I have to say — the level of service here was on a whole different level. I’ve never experienced anything like it before. Everything was flawless, and the attention to detail was simply mind-blowing. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a Corner Suite with a stunning lake view for our honeymoon, which was such a lovely surprise! The handwritten congratulatory note, signed by every member of the staff, was a truly brilliant and unique touch. We kept that letter as a souvenir Thanks for making this stay memorable

In the summer months guest enjoy free access to the heated outdoor pool of the neightbouring hotel Beau Rivage. Amazing attention to detail by the staff Super friendly and helpful, housemade delicacies for breakfast, the location is out of a dream. Not a spec of dust in the room, everything was magical! Boutique-Hotel Schlüssel is 10 km away from Lucerne and close to 13 different ski areas. Beautiful location and very peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower was amazing for our top floor attic room. Breakfast was wonderful as was the dining experience. Highly recommend.

Free WiFi is available. It was newly opened in December 2022 and is a fully automated boutique hotel with flexible room access with mobile key. It is very modern ans stylish rooms. Location is great.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Free WiFi access is available. The view from our room was amazing and we enjoyed the nice breakfast buffet in the morning.
