Spa area - not very crowded and quite keeping in mind the specific of the hotel-adults only. Food and restaurant atmosphere - extraordinary, deserving the 5 stars 🤩 Weak points - a liitle bit farway of Karlovy Vary and with nothing to do around. At the end weak points could be an advantage to have a quite and relaxing holidays. All the best!

The three-and-a-half-star Hotel Ontario has a 150-year tradition and boasts a unique and quiet location above the famous Mill Colonnade, right in the center of Karlovy Vary.

All rooms have a wonderful view of the city or the greenery. The room was the size of a small apartment and beautiful decorated. It had a lovely view and was super clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

Housed in a renovated Art Nouveau building from 1899, the Hotel Romance is situated in the spa centre of Karlovy Vary, close to the Hot Geyser Spring and the Market Colonnade.

The Restaurant Romance with a summer terrace serves Czech and international cuisine as well as aromatic coffee. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Set in a historical building, the Villa Patriot Boutique Hotel is convenient for guests who enjoy privacy and fine dining. It is located in the centre of Mariánské Lázně, close to the wood and the spa park. It offers elegant rooms, free internet and an on-site parking for a surcharge. After a mix-up when we checked in with an identical code that was given to two different rooms, everything was sorted. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The location is central, yet it's very quiet.

Hotel Saint Petersburg is located on the Tepla River Bank, in Karlovy Vary’s spa area and opposite the Grandhotel Pupp. Built in the early 1800s, the hotel offers an on-site restaurant.

Free internet access and a LCD satellite TV with DVD player are standard in every room. All spacious rooms have a minibar, telephone and electronic safe. Good location, clean, well-equipped and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast. Parking with reservation is possible in front of the hotel.

Conveniently located close to train and bus stations as well to the main spa avenue. Staff is helpful and forthcoming but not servile. Not a Russian ownership.

A former summer residence of the countess of Schaumburg Lippe, the small but stylish Villa Basileia Riverside is peacefully situated on the bank of the Teplá river, close to the spa area.

This property houses the Le Marché experience restaurant, run by chef Honza Krajč. There is a daily menu offered, using fresh seasonal ingredients. Selected French and Moravian wines and champagnes offered to complement the dining treats. It was a hidden gem in Karlovy Vary! The hotel is far from downtown, but still 10 minutes by walk to the main shopping street. Only 5 mins by walk to Cafe Pupp. My room is right besides the river, very quiet and enjoy the sounds of forest, even the restaurant is right below my room. The hostess doesn't speak much English, but the checkin process was simple, not a big deal. Room is equipped with a small hallway and changing room, and all the appliances are available in the bathroom. Breakfast was good, I could see many options. I would try the restaurant next I'm there. It seems nice and luxurious one. Totally would go again!

Situated in the city centre in the spa area, Alisa Hotel offers accommodation with free WiFi in a historical building near Karlovy Vary thermal springs. The hotel was completely reconstructed in 2013.

All units are equipped with a seating area with a satellite TV, a minibar and a fan. The bathroom comes with a bathtub or a shower or with both facilities. The apartments also feature an equipped kitchen. Everything! I travel a lot and rarely does a property exceed my expectations but this hotel certainly did. It is a classic, nice big rooms are tastefully adorned and it is situated directly across from the Grand Pupp ( for a fraction of the price). The staff were some of the friendliest I’ve met - big shout out to the manager Tomas who genuinely went out of his way to ensure I had a great stay. A very nice included breakfast to boot! Personally, can’t recommend it highly enough.

Spa 🧖🏻‍♂️ great pool and Saunas. Nice interior design. Good locationation in city centre. Everything close in walk distancence.
