Friendly staff who made sure we were well cared for, and assisted us with calling taxis due to our lack of language skills. Property is a mile from town in a residential neighborhood. Great morning breakfast served with smiles in a verdant setting overlooking the river. Room with a comfortable bed and balcony with mountain views. We would return here again!

Excellent breakfast- very filling. The best part was that it’s at the end of town, near the falls and very near the termales. One can just walk on over very easily and jump right into that wonderful water. Also, despite what one has been hearing about the security in Ecuador lately, there wasn’t even a hint of any of that. The town felt very safe and easy to walk around in the evening.

Boutique hotel with very comfortable rooms. Lovely internal courtyard with garden. Close to restaurants and everything else we needed in Banos, the area felt really safe. Buffet breakfast was good.
The owners were incredibly friendly, spoke great English, and the food was really fresh and tasty. Wonderful art was everywhere! I loved the hammock in our room (and a fireplace was ther too but we didn't use it). The in-massage I received at their in-house spa was phenomenal. The place is outside of Banos, in a tiny village. It is an easy walk to the gorgeous Diablo waterfall and the village doesn't feel as touristy as Banos itself. There is a river running outside of the hotel, which was lovely to fall asleep to.
The surroundings are beautiful! Taxis into town take 10 minutes and cost 3 USD per way. We were happy to stay outside of town in a much more peaceful setting. The property is very unique in its design and albeit quite basic is really charming. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and their two dogs are adorable!
