We were very happy with our stay at the Palacio de Avilles. Everything was as expected or better than one would expect at a five star boutique hotel.

The host was very welcoming and helpful and gave very good tips for restaurants and other things you need as a traveller. She also told the story of the house (which belonged to a painter, and his paintings are still inside) and this gave the perfect frame for a great stay.

Got met by the sweetest lady (owner) What a beautiful place. Family owned and everyone was so helpful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, so well presented.

Modern and very clean facilities. Cold time of the year but the accomodation was very warm and comfortable. Amazing location both for the camino and town centre. Would definately go back again

Offering sea views and rooms with free Wi-Fi, Hotel La Colina is set on the edge of Gijón’s Providencia Park. Set 5 km from the city centre, it is just 200 metres from Serín Beach. Everything. It was one of the most beautiful coastlines of Spain. The beds were comfy, the shower and bath wonderful and the staff so kind. They run a cafeteria as well and the food was great. Felt like we were getting home cooked meals. Alucia was incredibly helpful with directions to Gijon and where the best sites and typical food would be. We loved it and would come back again if ever in this part of the world.
