Less than 5 km from the coast and beside the Basque town of Irun, this charming hotel has a lovely garden and free internet. Easy to access, parking space, I was able to stay with my pet, the entire hotel is super clean and smells divine! The staff is super friendly! A perfect spot to get a good rest especially after travelling by car. There’s a child’s play area as well.

Bus stop in front of house. Owner and staff very personal, making one feel at home. Freshly baked cake by the owner in the morning, Yummy! We felt pampered:-)

We were looking for a little place to getaway that was quiet. It was so great to stay here--staff were really nice and the place pleasantly surprised us! It had a beautiful view of the Basque countryside and the ocean in the distance. Absolutely stunning! We had a large balcony with 180 views. Breakfast was great--help yourself. They also had portions of fresh food that you could purchase and heat for dinner the night before, but we had plans already, but would've taken advantage of that so we wouldn't of had to leave. Normally we stay in Getaria, but we definitely loved this place--especially the view off then patio where we ate our breakfast! We will be back!!

The modern Hotel Trueba is 200 metres from San Sebastián’s Zurriola Beach and Kursaal Convention Centre. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, a balcony and flat-screen TV. The owner Annie checked us in and she was very friendly and welcomed us with a huge smile. She gave us tips on where to eat locally and in the Old town. The room had a fridge containing free cans of coke and water. These were replaced daily and were a real bonus. Bathroom had nice handwashing products and the shower was very easy to use with brilliant hot water. On a side street it was only a ten minute walk to the Old town but the key to this hotel is on its doorstep, Gros has fantastic pintxto stops and Annie will advise you willingly.
