Salpalinjan Hovi ligger i en charmerende, renoveret skolebygning, 10 minutters kørsel fra Lappeenranta centrum. Timo, the host, was so hospitable and full of information about the area. The room was large, very comfortable, and the bed was the best one we slept on in Finland. The grounds are beautiful and near Lappeenranta while feeling tucked away. The sauna was well worth using, too!

This central Hotelli Lähde hotel is on the shore of Lake Saimaa. It provides sauna access. All rooms have free internet. The air-conditioned rooms at Hotelli Lähde include a TV, work desk and fridge. Værelses størrelse og muligheden for at sidde udenfor på altanen og nyde udsigten over vandet. Mange valgmuligheder på fjernsynet var absolut et plus også muligheden for at koble sin android op på tv'et og streame egne film. Skønt at være tæt på vandet og parken. Jeg fik desværre ikke prøvet spa afdelingen og/eller sauna, men det gør jeg næste gang.

Lossiranta Lodge ligger i Savonlinna, 2 km fra Savonlinna Togstation. Her er hurtig ind- og udtjekning, en have, et privat strandområde samt gratis wi-fi. Der er desuden allergivenlige værelser. The location next to the Lake was perfect.. looking at it at breakfast and also for a cool dip. Slept so well. We used the bicycles to get around 👍 The owner was so helpful and fun we were made most welcome. And the weather was ~5° warmer than expected. Perfect spring
