Pensión Sarriegi offers accommodation in San Sebastián. Rooms come with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. Rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. The communication regarding check in, and how to find the accommodation was clear, specific, and super helpful. In an incredible location, short walk to the beach, right in the old town near all the incredible pintxo bars. Everything you could need just at your doorstep. Staff were SO lovely and helpful. Free coffee and tea in the room were a treat. They gave us a free upgrade to a very large room, which after a few weeks of travel in small hotel rooms was absolutely incredible. Street noise wasn’t really an issue for us - we found the closed balcony doors blocked out most of the noise on the street. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need for a quick meal, etc. Beds were super comfy. Everything was sparkling clean. A/C worked well (one in bedroom and one in the living room). Elevator was handy for carrying up our luggage.

Hotel Santiago is located in Hendaye, just 3 km from the beach, and offers an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant which is open for dinner. Free WiFi access is available. Room design was very nice, easy access for two people. Great location, very nice staff, very informative. Would stay here again..

Situated in San Sebastián, a 5-minute walk from La Concha Beach, Casa Nicolasa offers modern accommodation with air conditioning, heating, and free WiFi. Everything. The arrival arrangements are excellent. Everything we needed to access our rooms late in the evening went perfectly well. The place was spotlessly clean. Rooms big, bright and airy. Bed was really comfy. The tea and coffee facilities on the first floor were very welcome. Little biscuits left daily too. Our room had complimentary water and a fizzy drink every day. Beds made daily and fresh towels provided daily. Location perfect.

Set 400 metres from the sea front and the beach La Grande Plage in Biarritz, Au Bon Coin offers a bar, lift, terrace and free WiFi throughout. A small intimate hotel in a very quiet area though within a short walk from the beach. Staff extremely attentive and helpful. Especially Jacques. A real gem.

This small hotel is located in a quiet area just 1.5 km from Playa de Orio Beach and offers free WiFi throughout, a sun terrace and a garden. -Beautiful boutique hotel with exceptional and chic decor -Located away from busy tourist attractions so we could enjoy the sounds of nature -Air conditioning and sound proof rooms so that even though the hotel is located very close to the road you didn’t hear anything when the doors or windows were closed. -Amazing and gorgeous breakfast with sweet and salty options to please everyone!

Set on the Bay of Biscay and surrounded by mountains, the Higueralde guest house is located 15-minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers rooms with central heating and free Wi-Fi. Very comfortable large room with balcony with a fabulous view. Spotlessly clean, The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast chef prepared a superb breakfast. Will certainly return and recommend 😁

The modern Hotel Trueba is 200 metres from San Sebastián’s Zurriola Beach and Kursaal Convention Centre. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, a balcony and flat-screen TV. We can drink coffees freely. And location is good

Less than 5 km from the coast and beside the Basque town of Irun, this charming hotel has a lovely garden and free internet. It is always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. The staff, rooms, food, breakfast, facilities, location - all top. The breakfast is brought to you freshly cooked with real freshly pressed orange juice; you get real coffee served to you at the table with real butter croissants, fresh apple cake, fresh fruit, and the toast with serano ham is amazing. The staff cannot do more for you and even remember the dogs name on arrival. All toiletries are in the bedroom, with a coffee machine with real coffee. And if you arrive late and hungry, they are ready to make you an omelette or Russian Salad washed down by excellent wine or fresh cool beer. Highly recommended indeed.

Hotel Villa Soro occupies 2 classical buildings, one of which was built in 1898 and is a Historical Heritage Building of San Sebastian. Free WiFi is available. The staff were wonderful and discreet. The place itself is just gorgeous. I came on a solo trip and felt very taken care of. Service = top. I also had some spa treatments, wonderful as well. The breakfast was lovely and could be customized. Worth every penny.
