My last day I needed to leave before breakfast, so they provided a breakfast packet for me to take with. Charming, quiet, comfortable place for a single traveler.

The seafront Ellan Vannin Hotel overlooks Douglas Bay and Douglas Beach. The hotel is 1 minutes’ walk from the beach and within 5 minutes’ walk of the ferry terminal and bus station. The main shops, cafes and restaurants are 2 minutes’ walk away. This property is excellent,very clean ,very polite staff ,and we always stay there it’s the nicest hotel we have ever come across.

On Queens Promenade in Douglas, Edelweiss Guest House is a long-established guest house with sea views. It is only a 5-minute walk from the Manx Electric Railway and Horse Tram Terminus.

All rooms include a private bathroom, TV with DVD player, free WiFi and some come with a sea view. There is a lift to all floors which is ideal for those who have difficulty with stairs. Sea was just outside the window of my room. Enjoyed sunrise and beautiful view just by lying in the room. There was free chocolate and room cleaning service every day. Perfect host and wonderful stay experience!

A luxuriously restored Victorian town house, the hotel boasts 15 unique suites, enabling you to enjoy the freedom of your own space, whilst benefiting from hotel services. Each suite features a double bed, one sofa-bed and a fully-equipped kitchen. Superb location, luxurious rooms, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds. We loved the little touches like delicious bread and cakes that were provided as welcome gifts and we had oat milk waiting for us because we had answered a questionnaire asking what kind of milk we would like for our tea and coffee. It exceeded our expectations and we would love to go back.

Englewood Lodge offers luxury accommodation with spacious bathrooms, bathrobes and slippers. The modern rooms offer free mineral water and fresh fruit, and each has a TV and hairdryer. Margaret was a wonderful host. Greeting us with tea/coffee when we arrived early and sending us off with a wonderful packed breakfast for the early ferry. We would definitely return and highly recommend to our friends.

With panoramic views across Douglas Bay and a carvery restaurant, it is just 5 minutes’ drive from the ferry terminal and a short seafront stroll from the town centre. Spacious and tidy room, comfortable bed and very kind staff. At our arrival, the staff gave us all the information needed.
