This was my second stay at the hotel and I loved it as much as my first. Hydra is magical and everyone at Mistral hotel makes the experience even more so. I loved the delicious breakfasts, the property is beautifully cozy and Jenny and Nico are always so kind and ready to help.

Perfect location, stunningly cute with wonderful little features, amazingly helpful owner (Christos) and an inspiring approach to guest service, such as allowing me to store my suitcase after checkout, before my ferry and making a shower available for guests to freshen up from one final swim before their ferry. Beds are comfortable, shower pressure is consistent, Netflix etc available on the television in case of a (rare) bad weather day like we had. Convenient fridge in the room as well and a pod coffee machine in the lobby. Exceptional value, especially for a place like Hydra

The views, room amenities, staff helpfulness are all pluses to the Hotel Hydra. When I chose the hotel, I knew it was up a long path with many stairs. However, the views at the hotel and the surrounding sights made the walk worth it. The signage is good so it is difficult to get lost. The area around the hotel has an historic mansion and the family home of a famous artist. Both were excellent and interesting visits.
