With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. It consists of elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Room was very comfortable for the two of us. Access to terrace with amazing views of the island. Staff extremely attentive and polite. Would absolutely visit again.

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. A beautiful hotel, in a quiet location just a minutes walk from the Port. Big rooms with high ceilings. The staff were wonderful.

Liked everything about the Angelica! Customer service was amazing, friendly, helpful & very informative. Beautiful, comfortable traditional room with fabulous large deck. Location beautiful, peaceful, lovely hillside views & only a short walk up from the port. Courtyard area for breakfast or just relaxing in during the day. Breakfast very good in general but would have liked the addition of fruit to have with cereal & yoghurt.
