Sulle sponde del Killary Harbour si trova la più antica locanda irlandese. Risalente al 1796, vanta piatti tradizionali fatti in casa, mobili antichi e le più spettacolari vedute d'Irlanda. A wonderful place to stay that is very comfortable and clean serving delicious food in a remarkable location.

Set in beautiful gardens in the heart of Connemara, the romantic Abbeyglen Castle Hotel has tennis courts, a spa bath and stunning views of Clifden and the Twelve Bens mountains. Location, environment, character, staff, breakfast. All that means one is spoiled. Have to be back to enjoy the prosecco and history tales we missed due to late arrival. But we enjoyed the evening music and atmosphere.

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. Prenotato quasi per caso, perché la nostra prima scelta non era più disponibile, decisamente una botta di fortuna! Appartamento carinissimo, con tutto quello che può servire (macchinetta del caffè, bollitore, tostapane, ecc...), prese USB in camera da letto così che non servano adattatori per caricare i telefoni, in una zona decisamente tranquilla, ottimo punto di partenza se si vuole girare la zona, sia a piedi (Clifden merita davvero tantissimo), sia come base per spostamenti più lunghi. Facilissimo da trovare e, oltre a tutto il necessario per la colazione, Cathriona e Pat ci hanno fatto trovare del pane tipico locale fatto a mano davvero ottimo. Dovessimo tornare in Irlanda passeremo sicuramente di nuovo! Consigliatissimo. PS: c'era persino una scatola con ago e filo, idea geniale che é anche tornata utile per una riparazione lampo!

Situato alla periferia di Clifden, l'All the Twos offre camere con bagni spaziosi. Pulito, facile da trovare, molto caratteristico!

The Alcock and Brown hotel in Clifden is a central and cosy hotel offering a dedicated welcoming service in a relaxed atmosphere. I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at reception were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Good location.
