Built in 1903, Maidens Hotel showcases 19th century colonial charm and architecture. It has an outdoor pool, fitness centre and features a coffee shop which extends into a charming, open courtyard. The staff, the place and the ambience of Maidens Hotel was AMAZING. I travelled with my mother and my in-laws and was sceptical at first but the way the team cared about us and took care of every little detail was exemplary.

Same price as a 4 star airport hotel but so much nicer and felt homely. They very kindly organised a packed breakfast for me as I had an early flight and shared with me some home cooked Dahl and rice for dinner as I couldn’t leave the hotel for dinner and was having issues connecting my credit card to the local delivery app (and had no cash left). Was so appreciated for a starving traveller!

Featuring a rooftop garden, Thikana Delhi is located in New Delhi. It is 3 km from the Hauz Khas Village, an urbanised village with medieval history. Free Wi-Fi access is available. A very clean and cozy hotel. The owners have impeccable taste – you can feel it in every detail, and staying here is a real aesthetic pleasure. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. The location is excellent: it’s a beautiful neighborhood, and we could easily reach all the places we needed. We stayed only one night while traveling from another city, but I’m sure I will come back and stay longer on my next trip to India.

The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was very nice with a lot of different choices. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Located just a 7-minute drive away from the Delhi International Airport, JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi Aerocity features a full-service spa, 4, food and beverage outlets and an outdoor swimming pool. Modern high-standard rooms, clean room, close to airport, high security, spacious room, bathroom with bath, friendly staff, immediate airport shuttle, near airport, clean linen and bed - I was struggling finding a decent hotel close to the airport because many cheap hotels put their location at aerocity while being located somewhere else and misleading people with wrong pictures - while this hotel is obviously more costly for Indian averages, it felt like being in the West and good value for the money overall - great for stopover after or before flying from Delhi airport
