They, can secure you to rent a bikes directly in hotel, they can pick you up or give a ride if needed. Staff was really friendly and they could speak English. But the most amazing part is the room where you sleep on tatami and have breathtaking view on Mt. Fuji. They also have their own onsen and massage chairs.

Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Exceptional hotel. Beautiful location. Loved every minute of it. We dined there. The French menu is a work of art and incredibly delicious. The shabu shabu was excellent. And the people working there are the best.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. Spacious room, everything was well arranged and organised. Staff was helpful and professional, and provided all necessary information we needed to know about. And the guidebook in the room showed info about how to travel around the area. And there is a laundry room and we could pay to wash and dry (p.s. very reasonable prices). On-site free parking is a plus too!!

Just a 2-minute walk from Takayama Station, Oyado Koto No Yume offers Japanese-style rooms with a colourful touch. We were there for our honeymoon. They were attentive, gentle, kind...they helped us for everything we needed. Honestly, the best hotel we've never been. We loved it!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. This was an exceptional stay. While the onsen doesn't offer a direct view of mount Fuji, we could clearly see it on our drive over thanks to clear skies. When we entered the premises, the staff was attentive immediately. From taking our luggage to making sure we were set up in our room. The room was SPACIOUS, with a lounge area and bedroom with screens to close off sections. The highlight was having our own outdoor bath to enjoy during cold winter nights. Perhaps the most breathtaking aspect of our stay were the meals. We were blown away by our dinner. It was the best thing we ate during out entire trip in Japan (we were in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto prior). We enjoyed a sumptuous parade of dishes that really showed off the local ingredients. We didn't think it could get better, but breakfast the next day was equally, if not more, delicious. While expensive, we enjoyed a serene getaway with our private outdoor bath and excellent meals. Would love to return.

Surrounded by four gardens that change colours throughout the seasons, Kanazawa Sainoniwa Hotel offers spa facilities and an on-site restaurant. Tone of the best experiences I had from a hotel. The staff was helpful, generous and caring. Breakfast was great. The public bath was great. We enjoyed it very much.

Great location, near kawaguchiko lake, can take early morning/evening walk with the view of mount fuji. There are modern style and Japanese style bedroom. Comfortable and warm house. There is a food truck early in the morning.The staffs are really helpful, informative, friendly, giving good recommendations. The public onsen was closed when we went there. They say it will be opening for tourist soon
