We had Japanese style room and couldn't be happier sleeping in cozy futons and softest blankets in such a beautiful surroundings. Had Japanese breakfast each morning, remember to book breakfast in advance :) Ryokan has own bath which can be booked for private use. Convenient location very near Shijo station and Kawaramachi.

Service was great, dinner incredible, room is also comfortable and clean. One impressive part is the little gift e.g. Japanese style bags shared during the stay- very unique during my entire trip in Japan.
