Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Nice atmosphere for a Guesthouse. Basic food was also provided due to the location which is an exceptional service.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Beautiful. The most comfortable beds in the world. 2 different types of pillow options.

Oyado Tsukiusagi is set in Miyajima, 600 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, less than 1 km from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as a 15-minute walk from Daisho-in Temple. Thank you for a beautiful stay here. There are only a few rooms, which makes it super private and comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are spacious and super clean and comfortable. They even provide free coffee in the lobby. Location is superb, just 3min walking from the ferry port (but still super quiet and peaceful)

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. It's by far the best hotel experience we had in Japan, after being in 4-5 other cities. The lounge facing ocean with sunset view is amazing, and the rooftop bath in the night overlooking the bay and the Tori is intimate and relaxing, after the crowd is gone. The staff is extremely caring and offered personalized advice to visit and dine out. We were late for check-out because of some delay with the ropeway, but the staff really cared about our wellbeing. Cherry on top, beds in Japan are usually very hard but this hotel gave me the best sleep!

Renewed in 2013, Sakuraya offers affordable Japanese-style rooms with mountain or sea views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 3-minute walk away. Is located between the pier and the Torii, amazing ocean view

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. I love this place, was a different night in Japan, sleeping in a traditional room. The room and the place was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The personal service was very kind with us. We enjoyed so much the traditional Japanese breakfast. I totally recommended stay at least one night here.
