De sfeer is heel goed, we hadden een geweldige kamer met mooi uitzicht. In de gemeenschappelijke ruimte kijk je uit op de prachtige tuin. Het ontbijt en diner wat wordt aangeboden is erg gastvrij. ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Er waren bijna geen gasten en ze hebben ons in de watten gelegd. Het eten is super, eigenlijk alles! Heerlijk bed geweldig eten etc.

Sakuraya is gerenoveerd in 2013 en biedt betaalbare kamers in Japanse stijl met uitzicht op de bergen of de zee. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar in de openbare ruimtes. Miyajima is beautiful, one of the most amazing places in the world and Sakuraya enhances the experience to the maximum. The room has plenty of space, having the first real washitsu in which I stayed while being in Japan. Miyajima is not a place in which residing is easy (the Island is still little), so the price is more than considered. English is not a problem as well. The staff was extremely helpful - my girlfriend was sick, but they provided me with a thermometer and some medicines, such that the trip wasnt completely ruined. If you want to stay in Miyajima, this is it.

Miyajima Morinoyado is na renovatie in april 2014 heropend en biedt comfortabele kamers en een ruim openbaar bad. Fantastische plek op het eiland, geweldig uitgebreid diner en ontbijt, heerlijk badhuis wat ‘s ochtends vroeg exclusief is voor hotelgasten (met je gratis kimono zo het badhuis in)
