Before travelling to Sri Lanka, and before booking my stay with Glenn and Fiona ( and mustn't forget Sita- without whom the stay would would not have been the same), I googled reviews 27 Spathodea's and all were raving how perfect this homestay was. They were all spot on. Glenn and Fiona's home is absolutely beautiful, and even though they were out of the country, Glenn in particular bent over backwards to keep in contact with me, both before and during our stay, to ensure everything was in place, He advised us on so many things that as visitors, we may may have over looked or been unaware of. Sita, their on-site manager was the same, smiling, generous with her time, always amenable to every request. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She even went out of her way to take us to set us up with sim cards, and show us nearest banks etc. She was kindness itself. Her breakfasts and evening meals were as good as any restaurant The location, though close to transport, and shops, was peaceful and quiet. I would 100% recommend this gem of a place to any fellow traveller. The hosts are kind, caring, generous and thoughtful. What more could you want.

Strategically located in Colombo, Cinnamon red Colombo offers modern and comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access throughout the property. The experience at Cinnamon Red Colombo was so nice! It was our last night in Sri Lanka and we did had a good rest after the long journey. Especially thanks for the great service of the staffs with many patience when we check in. The roof pool is stunning! Highly recommended.

Cinnamon Grand Colombo is a luxurious 5-stars city hotel located in the centrer of Colombo and in the heart of tourist and commercial hubs like the World Trade Centre, National Museum and Iconic... Everything was great - the staff, the check in process, the beautiful room, the value for money on food (which was exceptional), and the special treatment the hotel gave my wife and me for our wedding anniversary! It was a true 5-star experience and we hope to be back again.

Tento kultovní hotel v koloniálním stylu pochází z roku 1864 a nabízí lázně i bazén se slanou vodou, lehátky a výhledem na širý Indický oceán. Wonderful old world charm. The staff were excellent.

Fair View Hotel Colombo se nachází v Colombu a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi připojení v celém objektu a restauraci na místě. The room was very clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed their breakfast. Ordered a special lunch based on Siva's recommendation,Jaffna Crab curry and fresh water jumbo tiger prawns devil both tasted outstanding. Kudos to the chef who made those outstanding dishes which we all thoroughly enjoyed it and also a big thank you to Roger from dinning for his absolute outstanding service which made our day so special.

The hotel is very nice. Rooftop bar has an amazing ocean view. Stuff was super friendly and helpful, especially Dimitri at the receptionist. She is really an angel. ;) Facilities are well maintained, pillow is very comfortable and the room is sound-proof. Highly recommended if you are staying in Colombo.

Nestled in the heart of Colombo City, a boutique Colombo Court Hotel & Spa is just a 15-minute walk from MC Shopping Mall. What a stunningly designed hotel— it really felt special and you can tell someone spent a lot of time, effort and money making the space. I didn’t expect it to be that lovely from the photos. Everything else was good too - ac worked, staff was nice, location good, beds comfy.
