The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... From the moment we arrived, the reception team greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism, making us feel instantly at home. The Library Room was an absolute delight—elegantly furnished with plush seating, rich wood accents, and a curated collection of books. On the morning, we were treated to an exceptional breakfast spread, offering a diverse array of delicious options.

It is the perfect location in the old town of Galle. I was surprised by the spacious room, its comfort, and all the amenities. the staff is very hospitable as everywhere in Sri Lanka. The building itself is fascinating, and you can feel it by the ambience and wooden stairs and floors, very well renovated and looks quite esthetic. If stay in Galle again I'd stop over at the Fort Printers - and google the history of the building and the Fort :)

We spent a week in the charming mansion Camellia, centrally and quietly located, a few minutes walk away from the beach and center. The building is a little hidden from the street and is surrounded by a blooming garden. The room with all amenities was spacious and quiet. Our host Paddy spoiled us with a delicious and varied breakfast, he showed us the eating habits of the country with the respective national dishes. His humor and knowledge of the country and its people was unique, he helped his guests and also us with reservations, excursions and transfers. We highly recommend this property and will book this accommodation again on our visit.

The guesthouse is right in front of the Dutch Fort and you can see the sea from the terrace. The room was cozy, the place was super clean. The Dutch market was a short walk from the guesthouse. I loved staying there and when I return to Galle which i will because I loved it, I'll make sure to stay here. Also a cute dog named Pirate is a bonus.

Personál byl velice milý a vstřícný. Vše bylo čisté a brunch byl dokonalý. Opravdu krásné, moderní místo. Evropský styl a opravdu výborné espresso 👌🏽 vrátili bychom se zpět.

Fort de 19 Villa - Galle Fort se nachází na ideálním místě v centru města Galle a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací a s bezplatným Wi-Fi a neplacené soukromé parkoviště. We really enjoyed our time here. They had a good parking area for our rented tuktuk. The room was great but what really stood out was the rooftop patio. It was nice seating up there for sunset. The family were very kind. Good location with everything in walking distance. It was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless!

Srílanská Hotel Dunes Unawatuna je ekologický butikový hotel poblíž krásné pláže Unawatuna (100 metrů / 5 minut chůze). The aesthetics of the property made it stand out from the rest. It's a small hotel with charming staff which made it seem like home. It's centrally located but very quiet in lush surroundings. Our room upstairs was very spacious and had a small balcony. Plenty of hot water with very good pressure. Plenty of storage space and a place to have coffee. Very understanding and helpful staff assisted us when we arrived to discover steep steps to the loft bedroom. A very gracious young couple swapped with us as they stayed for only one night. We stayed here for 6 nights and were sorry to leave. Unawatuna is a fun place to spend time and unwind either before heading off to tour SL or prior to the journey back home. Great beach too!
