I loved my stay at Bethel. The room was very specious and very clean. There were all facilities from cloth hangers, hair dryer, fridge, kettle.They had hanged mosquito net based on my request before I arrive. They had water filter to refill my bottles and use less plastic. There was hot water at convenient pressure for shower. The room overlooked green area. I felt sad that I couldn't enjoy the view from the balconies of the homestay enough, since I stayed in Kandy 1 day. The hosts were amazing people, very informative and friendly. The breakfast was fresh and of good variety. All from welcome to goodbye went great in their homestay. The rating is reflecting the reality of Bethel😊. For sure I will stay in Bethel, if I go and visit Kandy again one day.

The Elephant Stables er fallegur gististaður sem er til húsa í fornum bústað í nýlendustíl. Þaðan er útsýni yfir gróskumikla Kandy-gróðurinn. One of the most enchanting places on earth! Nihal took exceptional care of us from the very first moment. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we felt warmly welcomed. The property, the garden, and the pool are truly magical. We enjoyed lunch and breakfast, and both meals were absolutely delicious. The chef Idika came personally to check in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The location is in Kandy, just a five-minute tuk-tuk ride from the city centre. The hotel also kindly offered to drive us back and forth. Overall, a five-star-plus experience.

Located amidst rolling green hills and the Madulkelle Tea Estate, this property offers tents with a terrace, a seating area, and en suite bathroom with hot/cold water. The location. The music the atmosphere, for those who want relax , the stuff are very nice and generous. There is wonderful garden and nice swimming pool. The area around nice for traveling and exploring.

Sky Pavilion er staðsett í aðeins 2,5 km fjarlægð frá hinu heilaga Sri Dalada Maligawa og býður upp á nútímaleg gistirými með útsýni yfir Mahaweli-ána, fjöllin og gróskumikla grænkuna. Everything! 😍 It was a nice surprise The hotel is in the high part of Kandy ( facing knuckles mountain and a golden Buddha), the view is spectacular. The Sky Pavilion is a jewel, decorated with taste, it’s quiet , clean and rooms are beautiful all with the stunning view on the mountains and you can also relax by the pool The manager takes a good care of his guests and the staff is really helpful and nice . They will help you with everything, visits, food and drinks , transportation , money change etc… In addition, the cooking is really good , the breakfast is top ! And finally , their Tuk Tuk driver is a gem, he will take you to the best places in the city . I will come back there .

The long area around the pool is great and drinks can be served directly to your sunbed. Food was good and perfect for some day time snacks. Staff were friendly and accommodating when needing to arrange transport, laundry etc.

Hotel Kandyan View ''Free pickup from Kandy city'' er staðsett í aðeins 900 metra fjarlægð frá hinu fræga Ceylon-tesafni og í 1,4 km fjarlægð frá hinum vinsæla Bogambara-leikvangi. Great view over the city. A big bonus for the swimming pool and great service. All in all a good place to stay. You need a TukTuk to get there, which they arrange free of charge :)

Hotel See Kandy er staðsett í gróskumiklum, grænum hæðum Kandy og býður upp á útisundlaug og þægileg herbergi með svölum með útsýni yfir fjöllin. The view of the room was excellent. we enjoyed the breakfast. Nice and quite location!

Settle Inn Tourist Lodge er staðsett í hálfgerðu dreifbýli, aðeins 1 km frá Kandy-borg og musterinu Temple of Tooth Relic. Það er með veitingastað og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi og einkabílastæði. We had two rooms. In one room, we had a 4 year old. There was no charge for him, but an extra bed was provided. Rooms were super clean. Very nice upgraded bathrooms. The host was so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good...standard fare with a nice fruit plate. The location was great. We walked to town along the lake. For families, there is a big playground right at the bottom of the hill, on the way to the lake and town.

Queen's Hotel Kandy - 160 Years of Heritage & Luxury is housed in a historical building located 50 metres from Kandy Lake. I was booked for family room but got the best executive suite for the same budget. For the same reason we decided to extend our stay by one more day in the same suite. And one of the manager there gave us private hotel tour.
