Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre, Amaranthe Bay Resort & Spa is located just 5 km north of the Trincomalee town on the beautiful East Coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel is very good. Room is clean and spacious. The view on the bay is gorgeous. It’s relatively close to the beach and the ocean in this area is very clean and warm. We spent here 4 nights with our 3 years old son and we all had a wonderful time. The staff is very attentive. I especially want to highlight the man at the pool area and the guys from the restaurant, especially Kirujan , who was very helpful with all our needs. The food was delicious and varied. Definitely recommend this hotel. From what we’ve seen that’s probably the best resort in the area.

Trinco Blu by Cinnamon is a luxurious 4-star beachfront resort located 6.5 km from Trincomalee. It provides spacious accommodation with a freshwater pool, 3 dining options and free Wi-Fi. Very well placed on a great beach. Nice swimming pool. Clean and new rooms. If you book Chalet Beach King rooms you will be directly on the beach. Best hotel on Uppuveli Beach.
