Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre, Amaranthe Bay Resort & Spa is located just 5 km north of the Trincomalee town on the beautiful East Coast of Sri Lanka. Having searched online for quite some time we decided to stay in the Amaranthé Bay for four nights in June and are very glad we did! Upon arrival we were met with a lovely welcome drink and very helpful staff, every staff member we encountered throughout our trip were friendly, approachable and nice. Mayuran, Priwin and Abinaya were always very helpful and couldn't do more for us! We stayed in a junior suite overlooking the bay, it was spacious and very clean. It also had a lovely jacuzzi to relax in while taking in the views. The pool area itself is kept very clean and had plenty of chairs, both in and out of shade depending on your preference. The hotel is located close to everything but in a very peaceful setting. The walk to nearby restaurants and bars only took a few minutes and felt very safe. We went to the beach a few mornings and it took about 5 minutes to get there! We ate in the pool bar and everything we had tasted nice, including the cocktails! Breakfast too was full of variety, both Western and local options, and you definitely won't be leaving feeling hungry! Kirujan, Ladsagan and Thisalini were always smiling every morning! We really enjoyed our stay here and feel that it was excellent value overall, would 100% recommend!

Trinco Blu by Cinnamon is a luxurious 4-star beachfront resort located 6.5 km from Trincomalee. It provides spacious accommodation with a freshwater pool, 3 dining options and free Wi-Fi. Meu blu the manager and all of the staff were very helpful and nice 😊 they made our experience comfortable and pleasant. Tricomalee was the highlight of our trip.

Anantamaa Hotel is tucked away in Trincomalee just steps away from the beach. Enjoy soothing spa treatments at the wellness centre or spend a quiet afternoon relaxing by the outdoor pool. Perfect hotel just minutes from the beach and lots of restaurants. Pool is lovely and staff so friendly
