The building has been restored in an Andalusian style, using hand-made mosaics and sculpted plaster. Each guest room is uniquely decorated, has air conditioning and includes free Wi-Fi access. Some rooms have a private terrace. We had a very comfortable stay. Mr Hasan is very helpful. He even arranged vegetarian food for us.

The Riad D'or meknes, built in the 1791 and recently restored with passion and respect of typical Moroccan architecture, is one of the most beautiful guest house in Meknes. It presents rooms and suites surrounding flowered patios. I’ve traveled to over 70+ countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels….and this place has got to be in my Top 5 for the best bang for your buck accommodation! The pictures of the rooms online don’t do this place a justice. It’s a stunning property with extremely friendly hosts/staff. Meknes is far better than Fes in my opinion and this Riad is the best!
