Our stay at Dar Elrio was one of the highlights of our trip, and was the perfect base to explore Chefchaouen. The staff really set this property apart - Hisham and his team were warm, helpful and hospitable, going above and beyond to help us with anything we needed (from a private airport transfer to Casablanca, to restaurant reservations, to complimentary mint tea on the rooftop whenever we asked for it). Breakfast was fresh and diverse, with different pastries each morning and more fresh food than we had at other hotels/riads in Morocco. We had to leave very early for the airport and Hisham kindly organised a takeaway breakfast for us, without us even requesting it. In terms of the property itself, it was spacious, stylishly and cosily decorated, with great air conditioning, smart TVs, really comfortable beds, and the best black out blinds for an uninterrupted sleep. The rooftop terrace was peaceful and had a great view of the sunset and mountains. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the Spanish Mosque and 8 minutes to the main square, and perfectly situated to explore the beautiful blue streets of the city. Thank you Hisham! So spacious. From the moment we walked in, Hakim greeted us with a big smile and could not do enough to help us with whatever we needed. Thank you so much Hakim. Breakfast or drinks on the roof terrace were just beautiful and we hated to leave. The Riad is right in the Medina and it is so easy to get around. Hakim recommended a few great restaurants and we tried them all. Perfect all round. Big thumbs up to the lovely people working in restaurants and stalls in the Medina. You felt very safe.

Lina Ryad & Spa is situated in the heart of Chefchaouen and offers a rooftop terrace with a view on the Medina. The on-site spa centre features an indoor pool, a hammam and a hot tub. The staff were incredible welcoming and the room exceeded expectations. Traveled with a 3 year old and was extremely impressed with how patient and attentive the entirety of the staff was. Highly recommend anyone to stay. Wife said the spa was incredible.

Remy and Fatima could not do enough to make our stay perfect from providing amazing breakfasts each morning, upgrading our room to have our own patio, offering tea each afternoon/evening to providing a heater for our room.

This is a wonderful place. Delicious breakfast and the location is perfect. Also, the staff were so wonderful. They were very friendly and helpful. Every request was handled professionally, and with kindness.
