The hotel is a beautiful little quiet oasis with a very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay so easy and comfortable. The area around is beautiful and for adventurous travelers it is the perfect place to stay as the hotel helps arrange all kinds of activities for you like a trip to bako national park or the orangutang nature reserve. It was perfect in December as the hotel was quiet and the weather was nice.

Boasting an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Imperial Hotel Kuching is strategically located next to Boulevard Shopping Mall. Very nice location. Easy access to the shopping mall and everything. My parents stayed there for 1 week. I almost went everyday to their room. Everything was clean and really nice. Staff and cleaners were friendly. I would recommend staying in this hotel. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the room facilities.

Set across the road from The Spring Shopping Mall, Citadines Uplands Kuching offers contemporary accommodation in Kuching. It boasts an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. We had a studio on the 10th floor which had great views across the city. Our apartment was stylish, quiet, pristine and spacious with an open plan lounge/kitchen area, a well equipped bathroom (super shower) and airy bedroom with excellent air con.The reception staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Complimentary coffee was served in the lobby area…….Darrel and Alexander were great hosts! The hotel is opposite “The Spring” shopping mall and close to a variety of restaurants and cafes. We were there during Oktoberfest so the area outside “Spring” was buzzing and welcoming in the evenings, with live music and beer on tap! The cost of a “Grab” taxi (like an Uber) was around R8 (around £1.50 at time of writing) to the waterfront. There is a swimming pool and gym but we didn’t use them although the pool looked very inviting. We had originally planned to stay for 2 nights but extended it to 5 as the place worked for us.

If you use Grab, you'll pay 5 Ringgit form Dehome Boutique hotel to Grand Magherita hotel. I walked from Dehome Boutique hotel to the Waterfront. It took me 42 minutes. The waterfront is 12 minutes from Magherita Riverside majestic Hotel. From Dehome Boutique hotel to the Borneo Convention center will take you 18 Ringgit by Grab and 30 Ringgit by Taxi. The people are friendly and food is readily available and affordable. I ate at Dehome Boutique hotel. With 18 Ringgit you LL have a fulfilling meal that is so tasty. Room service is free too.
