Kaboom is located right in front of the Central Station of Maastricht, in the trendy district of Wyck, known for its authentic boutiques and specialty shops. The rest of Maastricht is within reach, just 10 minutes walking distance towards the historical centre with the Vrijthof and the old Market We recently stayed five nights at Hotel Kaboom in Maastricht. This is my 4th time staying at Kaboom. As always it is an excellent choice for our trip. The hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient—it’s right across from the train station, with a parking garage just down the street. For coffee lovers, there’s a fantastic coffee shop next door, and the Albert Heijn grocery store in the station is open late, which came in handy. There’s also a Starbucks in the station for a quick pick-me-up. The area is lively, with plenty of stores, restaurants, and cafés within walking distance, making it a great base for exploring the city. Breakfast at the hotel was a typical Dutch spread—simple but satisfying, with fresh bread, cheeses, and more to start your day. Overall, Hotel Kaboom offers a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and accessibility, making it an ideal choice for a stay in Maastricht. We’d happily stay here again!

Our room the Maisonette Deluxe3 was very secure, quiet, spacious, clean with a well equipped kitchen , very comfy bed and bedding and large clean bathroom. Numerous restaurants and cafes in walking distance. Very walkable to the train station as well or bus #4 stops very nearby.

Trash Deluxe is a unique hotel in the centre of Maastricht which offers rooms with designer décor and hand-made furniture. It is set in 2 historic buildings. The famous Vrijthof is 600 metres away. Free WiFi is provided. This charming property is located on a private estate along the Maas River and surrounded by Maastricht Marina. Just 3 km from Maastricht and a 5-minute drive from the A2 motorway, it offers chic rooms with flat-screen TVs. The location is stunning. A small island in the river. The room was big and clean. The furnitures stylish and functional. Everything worked as expected. The services was excellent. They served a full breakfast to the room in a basked. Just great. Our dog was also welcome and got some treats as a start.
