This is a special place to stay - the views from our room over the bay were spectacular. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and exploring the islands. Brita and Heinz are generous hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was spacious and well equipped. This has to be one of the best places I have stayed.

Surrounded by lovely gardens and situated on the waterfront, Hananui Lodge and Apartments features accommodation with free WiFi, a private balcony or patio and an LCD TV. Setting was magic, right on the beach in the centre of this very cute town! Building and facilities lovely.

It was the perfect relaxing accommodation for two couples wanting a proper break away. Access to the beach was fantastic, the spa was lovely, kitchen was stocked with all that was needed.

Averill Court Motel offers spacious self-contained accommodation, only 150 metres from Paihia Beach. All rooms are built around a central pool area with spa pool, swimming pool and sun terrace. We had a family sized room with kitchen which was reasonably equipped. The kids liked the pool and the hot tub. Close enough to walk to grocery stores and to the beach.

The 19th-century Duke Hotel is located on the waterfront, overlooking the stunning Bay of Islands. It features a guest lounge, restaurant and bar and garden bar, as well as a gymnasium. The kindness of all the staff but I would like to point out the excellent Camila at the reception and her husband at the restaurant. Very good people and excellent professionals. I do recommend this hotel well located, silent and clean.
