The location provides an open view of the Bay of Islands and the buildings, and the facilities are relatively new and well appointed like a proper resort. The apartment suite we occupied was spacious with large rooms (bedroom, living room, bathroom, closet & kitchen), and the rooms were very well equipped and clean. Plus, it had an in-suite washing machine and a dryer that were used by us with appreciation. Above all, Tina (the receptionist) was very friendly and helpful, who provided useful tips for sightseeing and graciously allowed us to leave our vehicle in the resort's garage for a few hours after our check-out.

Located in a quiet position on Kerikeri Road, the colonial-style Kerikeri Park Lodge features modern decor and is set on 3.5 acres of lovely park like grounds.

Was the perfect place to stay while in Paihia. Just a short walk up the hill from the main dock where Fuller's boat tours launch. Place had a nice deck to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine and look out over town and water and listen to the birdsong from the hills behind you. Bed was very comfortable, wifi good, and Hostess Marilyn was very welcoming. Guests had access to a washing machine and clothes that was super convenient. They also had an elevator to haul the luggage up the 1 flight from driveway to accommodation units. If you are coffee drinker like us, bring ground coffee as unit has a press pot to make coffee.
