We were stuck on the south island due to problems with the ferries. The first flight out was a day and a half later so we took the one and only available room in the vicinity of Blenheim airport. We were in luck, we enjoyed our stay! Our host was an extremely helpful person who was sympathetic to our needs, allowing us to make phone calls from her phone when we couldn't get through on ours.

Less than 5 minutes’ walk to the ferry terminal check in and short walk to car rentals. Property has a well equipped kitchenette. Quite comfortable, cosy and quiet place. Special thanks to Kent for kindly allowing us to check in early as my husband was a bit unwell.
