Located on the shores of Lake Te Anau, Fiordland Lakeview Motel and Apartments offers self-contained accommodation with free Wi-Fi and lake and garden views. The new suites were gorgeous, modern and more than comfortable. Views of the lake, soundproof, and just luxurious. One of the best places I've ever stayed.

Hannah was a great host (and cook) and the rooms and facilities were ultra clean and tidy. The bed was super comfortable and the under floor heating in the bathroom is a plus!

There is a living room with sofa and kitchen facilities as soon as you enter, and the bathroom has two doors, so you can go to the bathroom from the room, which is very convenient. The bed is very comfortable, and the hotel has a great view, opposite Lake Te Anau, and downstairs is a garden. There are chairs outside the room to sit, which is very nice! Parking is also very convenient, highly recommended!

Views from room were fantastic. Right at end of island. Restaurant next door. Breakfast included in price. Staff were friendly and ensured we had everything we needed.

Situated next to Lake Te Anau, Kingsgate Hotel is within walking distance of the town centre. It offers excellent walking opportunities nearby and free onsite parking. Unlimited free WiFi is included.... Since there are no taxis in town my husband and I had such a hard time walking to the hotel from the bus station with two large suitcases. The manager Justin Ludlow stepped right up and agreed to bring our suitcases down to meet us at the bus station when we were leaving town after we had shopped and had lunch. So kind! Thank you Justin!

Located in central Invercargill, Ibis Styles Invercargill offers spacious self-contained apartments with free WiFi. The property features free fitness centre access and an in-house movie theatre. Stayed overnight only but it was really clean and comfortable.and central. I wish I had stayed another day to explore Invercargil.
