Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley offers accommodation in the Living Inka City of Ollantaytambo, in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Inkas and the gateway to the wonder of Machu Picchu. Alex (the owner) is one of the friendliest people we have ever met! He was very helpful with recommendations and assisted with a cab to the hummingbird garden nearby (must visit!). The place itself is very cozy and conviniently located - the train station and ruins are in a walking distance and you don't have to walk on a busy road. It can be can cold at nights, but there are lots of blankets to deal with this problem, as well as really hot water in the shower.

Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. Food is absolutely delicious, with great selections. Spa was oasis of comfort The concierge was extremely helpful and patient, helped me to book train tickets and local transport. Their resturant opens 5:30am so we could take a bit or grab some take-away before we boarded the train for Machu Pichhu, which itself was a great comfort. Staff is genuinely warm and welcoming!

Fantastic view from our room and the terrace of the surrounding mountains and Pinkuylluna (Inca storehouses). Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet with a large selection. good rooms, and comfortable beds. I would like to come back.

The owner is very attentive and helped our group to move all the luggage to our rooms and prepared a wonderful breakfast with abundant fruits. The location is extremely good- only 2 minutes walking to Inca rail ticket office and waiting room. Storing luggage is convenient and efficient so our visit to machupichu is so pleasant with only a day pack.
