Nestled along the Douro River, Douro Hotel Porto Antigo. is housed in a historic building. It features an outdoor swimming pool, in-house massages and a restaurant serving European dishes. Was able to check in early which was helpful. The hotel is in the most splendid position on the river with fantastic views. Service was excellent, friendly professional staff, very helpful. Restaurant was lovely.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Everything was excellent. The friendly staff, the fantastic dinner where you meet people from all over the world. Lot's of top class local food and almost "unlimited" wine supply from the house was included in the dinner package that you should not miss. Superb! The pool area was very nice and relaxing. You could also take long walks in the wine yards with fantastic views over the Douro valley. The room was very nice. Fantastic old style but gently renovated.

Offering an outdoor pool surrounded by vineyards and a lush garden area, Casa da Azenha is located in Lamego. Free WiFi access is available in this farm stay. The property is amazing. It has a lush garden with lots of sitting area. You can also walk around the property through the vineyard. The host, Maria, was so helpful throughout our stay. She helped book our wine tastings and our dinner reservations. All of which were superb! We can’t wait to be back!

Featuring pool with a view and views of mountain, Casa do Romezal is a guest house situated in a historic building in Peso da Régua, 6.5 km from Douro Museum. The bungalow Apartment is amazing. The pool overlooks the vineyards and is just below your balcony with the same view of sunsets. The tasting is just a walk up a few steps and you can walk several paths in the area. Breakfast is not included if the 3 rooms in the main house are booked so plan accordingly. Marguerida gave me a small box of milk so I could make coffee in the morning. Once here you will never want to leave so I agree with the 2 night minimum stay so you can do the wine route which involves narrow winding roads. Make sure you do a full tasting here with Luis. Gueda vineyards has been operating for hundreds of years so you are supporting a small family and local workers and their families in this beautiful part of the world. Several wines are also available in the apartment to purchase. We know others were rushing to do 3 tastings in a day but when you stay here one is enough. Take a break and slow down here.

Quinta do Tedo is an award-winning agrotourism that provides accommodation with breakfast included. 5 stars staying experience!! I had a fantastic experience staying at this charming accommodation. The environment is absolutely stunning, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. One of the highlights was the complimentary wine tasting experience, which was a wonderful bonus! Just make sure to book it in advance. The staff truly made our stay exceptional—they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

This 17th-century mansion offers contemporary-style rooms with modern comforts in Provesende, a 15-minute drive from Pinhão Train Station. Morgadio da Calçada is 11 km from Douro River. We had a wonderful two-day stay. The place is beautiful and has great charm and an authentic atmosphere. We enjoyed dinner with the local wines and this was a great experience - the owner talked about the wines and production and the pleasant chef about the good food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We warmly recommend a stay at Morgadio Da Calsada Douro
