The hotel has a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. From the moment of arrival till the moment of departure, we felt the great loveliness of this hotel. Its staff is very friendly and attentive, speaks English well or very well, and some of them show a great sense of humour. The breakfast is overwhelming in choice and is smoothly organised. We had dinner once in the restaurant called Tipografica: excellent cooking and an extensive wine list. The rooftop pool and bar, as wel as the impressive view on Funchal, are a big plus. The room (junior suite) is large, comfortable, perfectly clean. And above all, the hotel is an attractive building, in the middle of Funchal, though in a quiet street without dozens of tourists. We hope to be back here again in near future!

The location is perfect, in front of big Garden in Funchal and is basically in the heart of the city. The house has an amazing, cozy vibe and has everything you need to have a great stay. Loved the high ceiling and the well lit rooms with windows everywhere. Definitely will stay here again if end up in Madeira. Highly recommended
